Cajun-Style Snack Mix

This irresistible snack mix is the perfect salty and savory treat that is so easy to make and always a favorite at any Holiday get together! This cajun-inpired mix is loaded with crispy, crunchy goodness and just the right amount of heat! It's the perfect homemade treat for gift giving, cozy movie nights and intimate get-togethers.

Cuisine Snack Mix
Cajun-Style Seasoning Mix:
- 1 cup melted vegan butter
- 1/3 cup soy milk powder mix see notes*
- 3 TBS nutritional yeast
- 2 TBS garlic powder
- 1 TBS smoked paprika
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp mustard powder
- 2 tsp dried dill
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Snack Mix:
- 3 cups Bugles
- 3 cups vegan-friendly Chex-style cereal see notes*
- 2 cups Garlic Rye chips
- 2 cups pretzels I used mini pretzels
- 1 cup assorted mixed nuts
- 1 cup oyster crackers
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Place the melted butter and seasonings in a large bowl and whisk until combined.
Gently add the snack mix to the bowl, tossing to combine to seasonings and snack mix, about 3 minutes. Spread the mix evenly onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 30 minutes, gently tossing halfway through.
Serve immediately.
Store the snack mix in a sealed mason jar up to 7 days.

* I find the soy milk powder mix on Amazon. If you're unable to find it, you can use coconut milk powder mix, or any other non-dairy milk powder mix. To omit completely, use 1/2 cup nutritional yeast instead of 3 tablespoons
*Chex Mix Cereal in the US contains D3 which unfortunately is not vegan-friendly. A great alternative brand is Cascadian Farms! If you're not able to find a vegan-friendly Chex-style cereal, simply use any of the other ingredients in its place!
