MY VEGAN JOURNEY

Cooking, eating and drinking has always been my passion, so after learning about the devastating effects that animal agriculture has on our planet, I made the very tough (at the time) decision to switch to an animal-free diet … OVERNIGHT!

To start off, I want to be completely clear with the fact that I am the last person in the world that ever thought I would adopt a fully vegan diet. Growing up in a Filipino household, meat and eggs were at the center of every meal. To be honest, I was scared I would even lose some of my identity and culture by going vegan. But by researching and educating myself, I was able to completely change my perception of food. And shortly after, I was able to recreate all my favorite dishes to vegan alternatives! Playing around in the kitchen and finding ways to revamp recipes became a serious passion of mine, and I love sharing these recipes with you and your families!

While I focus mainly on comfort food, you can find a ton of different recipes on my page ranging from quick and easy to deep fried and delicious. AKA your favorite recipes, but vegan!

My goal is to show people that they can eat the most amazing and delicious food on a plant based diet, regardless of personal preferences. So whether you’re a vegan looking for some serious comfort food, or someone who just wants to incorporate more vegan meals into their diet, you’re at the right place!
